Bircher muesli is such a great option to fuel your fast in the morning whether you have PCOS, pregnant or post-partum. It's high in protein and fibre so will keep you full for hours and is great for our gut! It's a balanced all around nutritious breakfast option ticking all the boxes!
Here's how I make mine:
(Will make 2 serves)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup traditional oats
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 x scoop of protein powder (I use True Protein Whey Isolate)
1/2 cup water (or can substitute for milk or alternative)
1 grated apple
1 cup high protein yoghurt (I use Chowbani natural yoghurt)
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stir and leave overnight in the fridge.
In the morning give a good stir and I usually add another 1-2 tbsp yoghurt so not too thick.
Top with blueberries (or fruit of your choice). I also quite like mine topped with my chia berry jam (will be dropping this recipe soon!)
